Event Manager (Spain & Italy)
Why events matter at Stoïk
At Stoïk, our business model is quite unique. We don't sell our cyber insurance directly to companies. Instead, we work with a network of more than 2,000 insurance brokers who recommend and distribute our solutions to their clients.
We are also developing partnerships with MSPs (Managed Service Providers), IT companies that can offer our cybersecurity solutions to their own clients.
This means that building strong relationships with our partners is absolutely key to our growth.
And that's where events play a huge role!
From industry conferences and partner events to afterworks, workshops and webinars, events are a key part of our strategy to build relationships, strengthen our community, increase brand awareness and generate business opportunities.
Events are also very important internally. As a fast-growing company operating across several European countries, we want to keep our teams connected and maintain a strong company culture.
In short, events are much more than just events at Stoïk. They're a real business driver and an essential part of our company culture.
Job description
As part of our fast-paced growth, Stoïk continues to expand across Europe, with on-the-ground presence in France, Benelux, Germany, Austria, and Spain.
Our company is growing fast, and we’re committed to continuing to unite our community of broker and MSP partners across Europe through external events, while maintaining strong internal cohesion.
As Event Manager for Spain & Italy, you’ll play a key role in supporting these goals by leading a structured and engaging calendar of events, while also supporting local teams on internal events.
You’ll be part of the Event team, reporting to the Global Event Manager.
This position is based in Madrid or Barcelona — on-site presence during events is required. Full-time permanent contract (CDI).
For the first 6 months, you’ll cover a Marketing & Communications Manager maternity leave, leading marketing & events in Spain and Italy. After that, the role becomes a permanent Events Manager position, owning event strategy and execution.
Your missions
External Events
Organization of external events
Plan and coordinate events across Spain and Italy, including trade fairs, afterworks, workshops, round tables, networking events, partner events and training sessions.
Manage the full event lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and defining objectives to planning, execution and post-event follow-up.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, sales teams, partners, venues, agencies and external suppliers to ensure smooth event execution.
Ensure that each event is aligned with Stoïk’s brand, commercial objectives and local market priorities.
Identify opportunities to optimize event formats, increase attendance and maximize business impact.
Help Sales teams maximize the commercial impact of events through effective preparation, follow-up and coordination.
Manage ad hoc event-related requests from field teams and assess their relevance against business priorities and available resources.
Event performance & continuous improvement
Define and monitor relevant KPIs to assess event performance, such as attendance, engagement, leads generated and business opportunities.
Share learnings, best practices and recommendations with the wider Marketing and Sales teams.
Webinars & virtual events
Plan, coordinate and manage webinars and virtual events across Spain and Italy.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing and local stakeholders to define topics, target audiences and objectives.
Track participation and performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement with our OPS team.
Merchandising & event materials
Manage the production, stock and distribution of event and merchandising materials locally.
Coordinate requests from field teams for visibility materials, including goodies, roll-ups, flyers, brochures, banners and other branded assets.
Internal events
Organize and coordinate internal events for local teams, including team-building activities, offsites, celebrations and internal gatherings.
Support the organization and local execution of global company events and initiatives.
More broadly: Own and monitor the events dedicated budget for both countries.
Marketing cover (first 6 months)
Keep the marketing engine running in Spain and Italy: campaign execution, email communications, and event promotion.
Support our LinkedIn and content presence, including Stoïk Iberia account, as well as drafting and adapting content for the Country Manager and the team.
Localize marketing assets (flyers, one-pagers, decks, web copy) from English into Spanish and, where relevant, Italian, making sure copy sounds natural and never like a literal translation.
Handle marketing operations: HubSpot forms and reporting, UTM tracking and webinar automation, using tools such as Livestorm, Zapier and Google Sheets.
Support PR and communications with media, partners and industry bodies, including the management of our local PR agency.
Coordinate with designers and the rest of the marketing team to deliver assets on time and on brand.
