About the role

As Legal & Claims Manager for the Belgian market, you'll be the go-to person for all legal and claims matters related to both markets: a high-impact, autonomous role with a wide variety of responsibilities from day one.

Key responsibilities

Legal

• Draft and maintain cyber insurance policies for the Belgian market

• Negotiate and manage distribution partnerships (co-broking, agents, risk carriers)

• Work closely with the Product and Tech teams to adapt contracts and documentation to the Stoïk app

• Occasionally, support the NL market launch alongside core BE responsibilities

Claims management

• Handle cyber claims (cyber fraud, ransomware, liability…)

• Produce claims reporting for risk carriers

Requirements

Must-haves

• Experience drafting insurance contracts

• Proven experience in claims management (insurance company, litigation or equivalent)

• Strong autonomy: you can take ownership of a topic end-to-end without hand-holding

• Knowledge of Belgian insurance law

• Fluent in English & Dutch

Nice to have

• Fluent in French

• Background in cyber insurance
